Question
My fish has been acting strangely for the last few days. It my be significant the weather has improved greatly and is warm and humid? But it has been floating head up for 3 or 4 days, it is now floating in the pond but upside down although appears to be breathing normally? It's underside appears swollen but has no injuries or signs of disease? I have taken it from the pond and isolated it but fear it wont survive? Someone has suggested swim bladder disease but I am not convinced as it is not floating on the surface. Will my Koi recover? Any idea on the problem? Is there a solution? Love your pyramids by the way! Hope you can help. Regards Tina

Answer
Hi Tina

Thanks regarding our Egyptian pyramids , you are welcome here any time ,

Regarding your fishes , It looks to me that your pond is having oxygen shortage , due to bacterial collapse , the fish might suffered from aeration and bacterial infection for some time , that will stress the fish to death .

you should change the water , add some anti bacterial , mange the aeration and filtration subjects , that will elevate the water quality and add health environment to your fishes .
