fresh water puffer fish

i bought my son a feshwater puffer fish yesterday and introduced him to the other fishes ( all goldfishes) i have notice that he is not eating the flakes. (what should i do? what kind of food do i feed? thank you.

Hi Dguman,
   Unfortuntely, as you will likely find out if it hasn't already happened, most puffers eat other fishes.  They often start by eating the fins off of other fishes. So I suspect that sooner or later he will eat the goldfish.   

  If he doesn't have live goldfish to eat, he will eat flake food but it may take him a while to accept it (a few weeks).
