i want to know how i can differential female fish to male fish
and how i know if female fish are pregnant -and how long go to appear the little fish

Hi Veronica,
  That is a good question but the answer depends entirely on which species of fish you are talking about.  For some species, the males and females look very different (e.g., the male might be blue and the female might be orange) but in other species the males and females might be exactly identical.  

  With pregnant fish, such as mollies, it takes about 3 weeks for the female to give birth.
