Question
I'm thinking of buying Piranhas for my husband for his birthday(lmao random eh)... I read somewhere that I sould buy an even number of them(I'm going with 4(I think)) So I'm going to start them off in a 20 gallon for a couple months then buy a bigger aquarium... What size should I go with?? I was thinking a 75.?. or would that be to big for them?? ... So I just need a second opinion and maybe some other facts..

I tried looking this up myself but everywhere I look it says something different... It's kinda confusing...

Alright thanks alot!! :)

Answer
Hi,
If you were getting 4 red bellied piranha, you'd probable be ok an a 20 gallon tank for about 4 months. There is no such thing as a tank too big for a fish, so get the biggest tank you can fit and afford. Personally, I like black piranhas the most because they aren't timid, nor aggressive. The only problem is they get a meter long and weigh 45 kilos, so not your average aquarium fish. Hope this helps.
