Question
my budgies wings were clipped before i bought him atpetco 2 months ago,how long does it take for the wings to grow enough for him to be able to fly again?...thankyou

Answer
Hello Andy! A parakeets wings will always grow back, the time process is different with all keets but it usually takes about 4 months to fully grow out. You may notice some flight feathers have been coming in but others are still short. Even if a few flight feathers are short your bird will still beable to fly with some flights. Just becareful your keet doesnt stress out his new flight feathers because the new ones that come in can bleed easily. Not a bad thing, if they start bleeding too bad then just dab some corn starch on the wings to stop the bleeding. Hopefully this wont happen to your keet. good luck!
