QuestionMy daughter (10) has decided to let her 2 budgies go. She has had a few couple of them. When they died we have replaced them, but taking care of them has become a burden for her.
She does not want to bring them back to the pet store and be re-sold and she wants them to be in a safe place.
What is the best thing to do in this case?
Do you know of any organisation in Toronto that would take them ?
Thank you,
Guillermo
AnswerHi Guillermo,
Unfortunately I'm Australian so I don't know any American organisations.
However I can suggest ringing your local avian vet they can help you with re-homing by recommending an organistaion, you can also put an ad in the newspaper advertising them for sale or giveaway therefore your daughter can have a say in who they go to and hopefully put her mind at ease that they will go to someone that will love and care for them.
I hope this helps!
