small hooves - big hooves - gallop faster

hello, do small hooved horses can gallop faster or large hooved horses can gallop faster? can you please explain me the reason?

Hi Caine,

That's a great question...that I'm not at all able to answer.  There are so many factors that come into play in determining how fast a horse can race that I'm not certain one can study the difference based solely on hoof size.
