Question
hello ma'am, what medicine or fodder to be given to horses to make their teeth, gums, jaws stronger and be able to bear the pressure of the bit on their mouth when novice riders are riding them?

NOTE: this question might be silly, but i am expecting for perfection!!

Answer
Hi Rohit,

Thank you for your question.  There is no particular feed that is recommended for making your horse's jaw stronger...although forages like pasture and dry hay will require your horse to chew more.  In fact, you would generally prefer your horse's jaw to be relaxed and supple while you are riding, instead of stiff and resistant.

Thanks, Corlena
