are sugar cubes bad for a horses attitude? why?

Hi,

It's not the sugar cubes that are bad for the horse (although they shouldn't be fed too many - strictly a now and then treat) but the behaviour that many owners unintentionally reward by feeding the cubes.

Like most things, it just comes down to proper horse handling.
