memory

please can you answer my question. hi i am 14 and i have a 7 year old horse, i dont see it very much only on weekends every 2 weeks and there is nothing i can do about see her very much. It gets me down when i go down to see her and she dosent do anything , all she does is follow my dad, it gets me upset that she dosent remember me anymore there is nothing i can do about it. I usually ride her whenever i see her but she usually mis-behaves at first but she sees my dad and just trots over to him. i am really sad about this,  how can i get my horse to remember me, does she not like me? i want to belong to my horse ! :(

A horse likes in a herd so they remember people that see them most.  You can't get any horse to remember you if you only see them once every couple of weeks.  The feels that you abandon him so he lives alone most of the time.  If you parents left you locked in your room for two and then came to say hi, you would not care about them either.  This is what this horse is living.
