Question
Hi i brought a 3 year earlier this year he has always been very calm.and quiet. He was very easy to break but i have recently.moved him to a new stable yard andhe is now rearing in my face and trying to charge off with me. I know its not like him and i have previously owned a horse for 10 years i dont know what to do with him

Answer
Well, if the behavior stated when you moved then it has to do with the move. It could be many things, but my guess would be other people are handling the horse and teaching it that this is OK, so if anyone is letting the horse out, moving the horse or bringing him in that would be my first guess.

It could be new herd behavior, he could be having to fight for food or and is being pushed by higher horses or he is not high horse and he has learned how to be in charge and you are not showing him that he is not in charge.

It could be that you have taught this and don't know you are teaching it so that is why the horse does it, if you don't know how to fix this or stop this then the odds are you don't know how NOT to teach it so that is why you don't know that you are teaching it.

Has you can tell it is impossible to give an answer since your questions has so few details.
Had you read my web site and watched my videos, you would not be asking me this.
