Question
I will strat with my horse. My horse is 26 years old and Registered Quarter Horse. She is not mine she is owened by Raindow Riders Inc., a riding place for handicap. That is the info that you should need about her. Raindow Riders is afforing avdanced riding lessons for ability bodies. The instructer is a little on the nervous side on lessons. She really knows how to ride. so do  you think should take lessons with her? thank you for your help!! :)

Answer
Dear J:

26 years old is a good age for beginner riders --- you didn't tell me how old you were --- this is useful -- also what type of riding you're going to learn - western / english? ... I don't know exactly what you mean with the instructor being nervous side on lessons..... a good instructor must be competent- #1 --- know the horses lessons are given on #2 --- PATIENT and able to communicate with the rider very well..  Since you're a beginner I don't know how you can judge her riding skills.  Staying on a horse is one thing -- being a horseman or woman is another ...  if in doubt -- seek out another knowledgeable horse person to "observe" this instructor and give an opinion honestly to you in confidence.

Hope this helps
Good luck
Dee
