Question
Becca,

An animal by my house has recently shut down, and they had to get rid of the animals.  They were selling them at very low prices.  I have the money and land, and I couldn't let them go without a good home.  I ended up with 3 goats, 3 sheep, a cow, a cockatoo, a peacock, and 2 horses.  It's the horses I'm worried about.  They have everything they would need, I've taken them to vets, but I think they're stressed.  One is, remarkably, an albino palamino.  the other is an appaloosa.  Is there any way I can help adjust them?  I haven't ridden them yet, and don't know if i should.

Answer
Richard,
Wait till they are comfertable with there new hoe before riding the. Make sure they have everything they need. If they trust humans a good grooming will help the relax. In the pressure of moving they may have not met all their hydrational needs and may need the extra help of electrolytes. Just give them, time and they should adjust just fine. Please feel free to ask more questions or ask me to go more in depth.
