Question
I live in Western New York, our winters can be quite grusome.  At what time should horses or donkeys not be let out to pasture in the winter?  We have had some days a below zero outside.

Answer
Hello Denise!
Horses should have nice think hair in the winter. If so, they can be outside up to below 30, during the day. Some people like to put their horses in at night, when it is that cold. Other people put horse winter blankets on their horses. If you horses do not have long thick hair, I would definetally get some winter blankets for weather that is below 0.
Thank you
