fungus???

hi. i have a 28 year old mare and she has something that looks like a fungus on her sides (actually its a mostly on one side of her but the other side has a little bit of hair missing).  there is hair missing and a couple of bumps where it is.  it doesn't seem to be hurting her but i think its itching her. she gets to go out every day and i think she is rubbing on tree's or something.  it seems to have spread over the past couple of weeks. almost every day i find a cut or two on it but they aren't very big.  i have also been putting some yellow spray on it and it seems to be helping a little but i need some help on getting it to go away. we are going to give her a bath with Palestine today and i have also used a little aloe heal so help me please!! i hate seeing her looking like this

wash her with an anti fungus shampoo every day for one week then eveery 2 days for another week or until it is gone. also wash her with iodine after the fungus shampoo. iodine will kill anything that is on her. to help get her coat back feed her rice bran once a day for about a month. if it still does not clear up call a vet.
