According to feed supplement companies, the amount of feed to give a horse is based on their activity. If a horse is lunged and/or walk/trot for an hour or so every 2 to 3 days.  Is that considered "light" work?  Or other ?

Hello Andy,

I would consider that not even light work.  That horse would need nothing more than free choice, good quality grass hay and clean water.  A vitamin supplement would be good to keep hoofs healthy.

I consider light work to be work for at least an hour a day 6 days a week.
