Is the T-Rex 100-Watt bulb also used for a basking light besides a UVB light?

Hi Billy,

The T-Rex bulb is an all-in-one, so it would be all you'd need for heat and UVB.  It does need to hang a minimum 12" from the substrate surface--for boxie hatchlings, you'd probably have to set it a little higher than that to get the right temp, but it'll still provide very good levels of UVB.  I've used all kinds of lighting over the years and I've just found that the all-in-one bulbs make things much simpler and hatchlings do very well with them.   Here's a link to the bulb: http://www.carolinapetsupply.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=...
