Question
Hi tracie, i have a female Leo whose just coming upto 14 months, shes never been a great eater, she had already dropped her tail when i purchased her at just under 5 months old, now her eating is completely off, she wont even consider her favorite waxworm treat.. i was recommended critical care formula but i can only get her to drink anything if i feed her off the end of a dropper, i was just wondering if you could tell me how i could mix the formula so it isn't over dosing her if i fed her it this way? I'm going out my mind! thank you! x

Answer
Hello Kirsty,

The critical care is very good.  How much water did you add to the powder?  I would add at least a tablespoon of fluids with the powder should thin it out enough.
As long as it is thinned out adequately, it wont overdose her when you feed it to her.
How much of the dropper does she get?  I would say to feed it to her every other day so she doesn't get too much.
How long has she not been eating?  Is she losing weight?
Do you have any pictures of her?

What are the temperatures in her tank & do you use an undertank heater for her also?
It is pretty hard for them to come back after dropping their tails, but they do.  It just takes time. Let me know how she is doing.
