why do the males dig holes? why are the females more mellow than the males?

Hi Kayla! The females tend to be a bit more docile because they can be. They don't fight for territory in the wild, and they don't need the aggressive streak which enables the males to do this. They also have diverse personalities between individual dragons. Males are usually a bit less mellow, but there are mellow males, and aggressive females. The digging behavior is common in males and females. It is for hiding, sleeping, laying eggs, getting cooled off, and just for fun occasionally I think. I have seen the girls and boys do it quite a bit. Thanks for the questions! Nicole
