Question
QUESTION: it really isnt a question but i it normal for a female to have a  baby dragon ith two sets of legs and one body plus an extra arm. what a shock but sadly didnt live

ANSWER: Mr Setchfield

I would have to say no, it is not normal.  I am not a geneticist but I would guess that it was intended to be two young and somewhere along the line something went really wrong.  Had it lived, you might have been a little richer as anomalies such as this usually bring in big bucks on the open market.  I am truly sorry that it died, and hope you have another to replace it.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: hello again, is there a chance the double body could happen again,  we had 24 babies im total, another died but all remaining ones srre fine   so now we have to part with them and wondered could you give advice on the way we handle it as wont them in responslble homes

Answer
Hello Mr. Setchfield:

In answer to your follow up question, I would say yes but to be fair to you I have to admit that I am not an expert in this area of reptile husbandry.  As for finding them good homes I would really make inquiries of prospective owners as to who will mainly care for them, how much experience do they have, who is their Vet. are they financially capable of continuing care, etc.  I do have a problem with delicate pets being in homes with small children.  I love kids and have five grand kids but all children tend to squeeze to tightly and harm the animal not out of meanness but simple ignorance but in either event, the pet becomes injured or worse.

I think you might want to check all of my answers with another person familiar with your type situation as I have been wrong in the past and I want to be sure you receive the correct answer.  If there is anything else I can do for you please feel free to write.
