Question
Hi, I found a breed of mini rex that has two litters ready soon both are fathered by the same male but the mothers are unrealted, could I get a male from one and a female from the other could I breed them together?

Answer
It is better than if they were full brother and sister, but you need to consider the flaws and good qualities of each litter.  More often than not, the flaws in an inbred litter far outweigh the good qualities.  If both litters share any flaws, I would be careful about breeding two from those litters.  I always breed to produce the best possible rabbit I can, I don't intend to get pet quaility over show quality.  Obviously, I am going to end up with pet quality, but they are fewer and fewer as my breeding program improves.
