Hi Dave - Ross from New Zealand here...My 4yr old Rex had conjuctivitis in her right eye this morning  -how can I clear this up - also whats the deal with not allowing Rabbits to eat lettuce or cabbage? ....is it really harmful to them or what?

ho ross nice to hear from you.
what i do is to bathe the eyes daily with warm salt water not using the same pad on each eye.
then i buy conunctivious cream from the chemist and apply to the eyes after bathing them, it should clear up very quickly.3-4 days
lettce and cabbage and any other greens should be given in moderation as it can cause scours(the runs) which is often fatal in rabbits.
