Question
We adopted a bunny 2 months ago...he's roughly 5-6 years old. We dont have much experience with rabbits, but are learing along the way through him and reading books.  He's out of his cage all day, hopping around the family room, eats fresh greens daily and very well loved/cared for.  My question is he will lick us and then ocassionaly bite us...what causes this and does he not like us?  Thanks

Answer
Try washing your hands before you handle him. You may have food smell on your hands.

If that does not work, it may be aggression due to hormones. Getting him neutered would very likely help. Since he is older, though, be sure to find a vet who is very knowledgeable with rabbits. They should have a very high survival rate among rabbit surgeries.
