Inside Rabbitt-move outside

Question
We have a Lionhead rabbitt.  It is currently inside.  However, it is not working out. (allergies etc.)  I want to do everything possible to make an easy transition to the outdoors.  What advice could you give us?

Answer
Do you have a garage?  If you  have a garage he will be safer in there.  If you don't have a garage or even basement then build him or buy him the biggest and safest hutch you can.  Make sure he can to inside of a large area to get out of bad weather and hide if he is scared from predators.  Make sure there is at least a small section that he can come out to get fresh air.

After you have moved him outside play with him and love him as much as you can.  Consider getting him a run so the 2 of you can play together but don't leave him alone in a run because he can be attacked by other animals.  Give him plenty of rabbit safe toys to play with.  He is going to be so sad so you just want to make sure you give him as much attention as possible.  Also don't move him outdoors on a cold day when he is used to being inside.  If you live in a cold area like we do its still to cold to put indoor rabbits outside.  If they have lived in the house over the winter they weren't able to develop their thick wintery coats.
