hi Dana,
our beloved bunny of 1 and half years,male,lop,last night climbed on to our bed as he stayed in our room and started becoming lame and non responsive,we gave him sugar water but he kept getting worse ,he eventually couldn't walk,he`s head started flopping around then all of a sudden he gave out a yell and passed away .what do you think happened .thank you,

I'm very sorry about your terrible, traumatic loss.

It's very unusual for something like this to happen, but there is no way to know for sure what caused it without a post mortem exam.  When a bunny starts to act this sick, it's vital to get him to an experienced rabbit vet immediately:

I am sorry this is too late for your friend.  

The cause of signs like this are myriad.  It could have been anything from exposure to poison to a sudden onset of systemic infection to a heart problem.  There are just too many possibilities to know for sure without a lot more information.
