Hawaiian wood for rabbits

Question
Hi Karen, we recently aquired a new bunny. We live on a farm and have built a nice hutch for him. I would like to have some wood on hand for him to chew. I have some untreated pine cones he is happily munching on. We have a lychee, surnam cherry, plumeria, avocado, and some sort of pine in our yard. I can also access Ohia, eucaliptis, and almost every other local tree. We stopped at Petco one of my least favorite places and they had no clue. Thanks so much for the help!

Answer
Congratulations on your new bunny!

Honestly, I don't know either. Pine cones and apple branches are all I've ever heard of being given to rabbits. I'm really not certain about the rest that you listed.

Where are you located? I can track down a local breeder and ask him/her if they use any of the local foliage for the rabbits.
