dwarf rabbit

Hello  We have a dwarf rabbit 16 months old.He keeps lickng his front paws red and tender looking. He also shakes his paws alot. He puts them in his water bowl as well.This has been going on about two weeks now.Is this a serious thing or will it pass?

Dear Gerald,

A condition like this should be seen by a veterinarian immediately.  He might have mange, but this sounds very strange and painful.  Not sure why you would wait more than two weeks to have a vet take a look and make positive diagnosis.  This bunny needs treatment right away.
