Question
I just got a 9 month old rabbit from a shelter.
She is very sweet and I really want pick her up.
I know rabbits do not like to be held but is there
Anyway of them changing if they are comfortable
With me.  Do I try it everyday or will that break
The trust.  Thank you in advance.

Dear Jen,

Most rabbits don't like to be held.  They are prey animals, and when they are restrained--especially by someone they do not yet know well--they can become fearful and insecure.  That said, it's important that you are able to handle your bunny when necessary.  To do this, you must first win her trust.  Here's how:
