Question
hi pam just a wee question my female had an accidental litter 12 days ago and lives in a hutch which is big enough fo her but not big enough for her plus 6 where as the hutch dad stays in he originally share with his brother is huge and would suit mum better it is on ground level so babies would be in no danger is it ok to move mum and baby into bigger hutch if so what age can i move babies and will the scent of dad stress mum out in any way

Answer
You can move the babies anytime.  The mother should continue to care for them even if they are in a new cage.  During the Winter many rabbits take the nest boxes away from the mothers and only give them back for about 10 minutes at a time.  If there was a large change of them not caring for the babies they would not be able to do this successfully.

Good luck

Pam
