i think my pet rat has a tumor

hi i have 2 pet rats and one of them has this small lump tht has been growin reli slowly under the base of his tail near his anus it doesnt seem to annoy him at all and he is acting normal iv been checkin it every day for the last few weeks and it seems to ahve got just a tiny tiny bit bigger im not sure if it is a tumor or not . if you ahve any advice or can help please iit would be much apriciated

It could be an abscess or else a little cyst in one of the glands in the anal area. Is there a scab on it by change?

You can rub it with neosporin ointment to prevent infection and also if he allows you to, you can hold a warm compress on it and after that, gently press on it to see if there is anything that comes out of it.
When did you notice this lump?

Also, he is going to the bathroom normally and eating and drinking etc??
