eye infection?

I noticed my rat has like a kind of scab around the inside of her eye by her nose, it's a pretty textured scab I was thinking she just cut herself when she was cleaning herself but now I'm not so sure.  I haven't noticed anything new happening with the scab and she isn't keeping her eye closed or anything and there is no puss of any kinda.. I guess I just want to know if it is a scratch or if it sounds more serious.

Does it wipe off with a warm compress and come right back again?

Is her eyeball itself clear?

I am wondering if it is porphyrin?
