Rats eye

I just went to clean my rats cage today and noticed one of the rats eyes has shriveled up and looks like its about to fall off. It was fine this morning and it still acts everything is fine. I have 3 rats in a cage together and one recently died of old age, dunno if that matters, other than that everything is normal. Oh i also moved in to a new place about 2 months ago if that matters.

You need to get him to the vet. There could be a tumor or abscess that is cutting off the blood supply to the eye.  Either way, it should be removed right away.  Keep in  mind that rats are very tough and hide when they are suffering.  

Also, the rat that died of old age....how old was he?
