litter training

i have finished reading and awnsered like you said. sorry but i have another question. how do you teach the rat not to go on the ground what do you do?

He will figure it out as time goes.  They still can have accidents, though. If your rat goes both poop and pee  in his box at least "most" if the time, you can safely say he is litter trained.  My boys still pee to bed sometimes but 99% of the time when they are awake, they use the litter box.
