Rat Blind In One Eye?

Question
I believe that one of my rats is blind in one eye. It happened quite suddenly, but I have one full grown standard fancy rat and another dumbo rat who is only maybe 9 weeks old. I took him out to clean his cage today and noticed that his head was completely cocked to one side with one eye just looking around frantically and whenever I would try to look at the other eye, he would turn his head to look at me with his good eye. He is very clumsy all of the sudden and falls over on the side with the bad eye and rolls over like a dog and then gets back up and starts walking around again with his cocked head. He also seems to have trouble getting around in his cage. But his other eye didn't look cloudy.. Just had a red eye boogie which I already looked up, but my other rat has never had red eye boogies and it's only in that one eye.
If you could give me some advice, that'd be great!

Answer
Hmmm....I am thinking there is something much more to this than him being blind.  I have had blind rats and have had a rat that had just one eye and they never acted like you describe. I am thinking there may be an infection going on or some inflammation, possibly in the brain, which my be causing him to be off balance.  Do you have a vet for him?
