which is male and female

Hi, I am having problems with my lovebirds because I don't know which one is male and female.  I got the birds a few days ago for my birthday and the lady that gave them to me said they were babies and I think that the one with a lighter forehead is female and the darker one is male.  Their reactions are cuddling, kissing, and they're allways together but also the bird with a lighter forehead is quiet and nicer and when I hold the one with the lighter forehead the other bird starts screaming.  Please help me!

It is impossible to sex Lovebirds by appearance. The only sure way is to have DNA tests done by your vet.

I'm afraid they are unlikely to stay tame as a pair will interact with each other and not with you. The screaming is jealousy!
