budgies??

Question
hi i have 2 budgies. my male budgie has piece of poop stuck on his feathers on his bum. he's a little bit handtamed but whenever i try to pull the poop off his bum, he flies away. he had this for a couple of days now. how do i get the poop off?
also, my female is on her way to become handtame. when i put my finger out and put spray millet in front of her, she jumps on my finger but whenever i push her bellie, she gets scare and runs away. anything i can do?

The male should be able to get the poop off himself. If he doesn't manage to do so, it's not a problem, it just doesn't look nice. It will fall off eventually. Keep an eye on it to make sure that the piece isn't getting bigger, which can be a sign of health problems.
Apart from being patient, there's not much you can do with the female. You can try clicker training to teach her, though. Put your finger near her belly, as near as she will allow, then click and offer a treat. Repeat this a few times and for a few days. Then, when she's comfortable with it, put your finger a bit nearer to her belly and start over. Here you can find more info on clicker training as well as a very active and friendly message group:
