Injured and orphaned baby mouse

Question
hi. i woke up 3am to squeaking and chirping that didn't sound normal from the mouse cage. i checked to see if everything was ok but i interrupted a mother mouse eating a baby. i removed that mouse and left the other 2 mum in there to see if they would look after it but they tried to eat him too.
so i took him out and he is in a little box with my sock (i made it in to a cosy nest shape) for comfort and he has no tail at all and has blood on him. i don't want to put him back in case they finish him off!
i need to know how to feed him and what to do with him. his eyes aren't open but him and his brothers and sisters are at the move around a lot stage

Answer
I'm guessing these babies are under 7 days old. It is fairly common for mother to eat some of the babies in the first few days for many reasons such as she feels there are too many for her to raise, deformity, fear of predators or illness of the young. Whatever her reason they are her babies and she knows best.

It is understandable yet very unfortunate you checked on them. If you hadn't nature would have taken its course without any stress on you or the baby.

I'm sorry to tell you but I don't think he will survive and perhaps its best he doesn't if he has no tail. You can feed him kitten or puppy formula through a pipette or eye dropper or take him to the vet to have him put down. It depends on how bad the wounds are and what you think the kindest thing to do would be.

I'm sorry this has happened, I hope it works out. Please feel free to ask any more questions.
