Raising 2 mice info

Hi Natasha!

I'm sure that Sugar and Caramel are the same age because the person at the pet shop breeds mice and he said that she's actually the same age as the other mice in the cage and that he kept her at his home for an extra week just to make sure everything was OK. Her skin is white I'm pretty sure but I'm not 100% sure.I'll check If I can get her out. The other mice at the pet shop looked healthy aswell.

As for Caramel I dont actually aproach her from above because my cage has the doors on the side. I've also tried to give her treats before but she never took them, she just ran away. I waited for 15 minutes but she didn't take it. But I'm going to try to get her into the toilet tube.

Also I got them this little hut and Caramel keepes going in there and I have no idea how to get her out.And I don't want to aproach her from above.

Any Ideas?

Another thing. What did you mean by feed Sugar soft Cheese?

Dear Jessica,

I suggested the soft cheese because I was afraid that a mouse without all her fur was younger than you thought and maybe shouldn't have left her mom yet.  But since you are sure she is older than that, you can forget that.

When I have a mouse who is difficult to get out I don't use any toys or houses that I can't get her out of.  There are little houses where the roof comes off, which work great.  Another toy easy to get her out of is half a cardboard egg carton.  I just wouldn't use the hut right now.  

Don't worry about the color of her skin; I just meant that with 'Fuzzies' you can see the skin.
