re: mouse house of of juice box

you said that i could make a mouse house out of juice box but to make sure they do not think it is food. i know with the tissue boxes i give them they tear them apart and they do eat the material. if i put a juice box in there cage how will i be able to tell if my mice think that it is food?

Dear Sara,

The mice don't actually eat the tissue box, they just chew it to shreds. I think they'll be fine with the juice box. Just, if you notice anything different in their poops, like bits of plastic, then take it away.
