Questionhow do i keep my two female mice from fighting, i just got a baby today an my bigger mouse keeps attacking it, i do i stop them
AnswerDear Jaylee,
Mice generally have a period of time where they establish who will be the dominant mouse. It's pretty clear that the bigger mouse will be dominant, but she needs to make sure the baby knows it. Lots of chasing and squeaking is perfectly normal, and the squeaking does not mean pain; it's just communication.
Most likely the mice will be fine together. However, it is a problem if:
*There is blood
*The baby is blocked from getting food or water
*They don't usually sleep together
*The baby becomes depressed: does not move around much, sits hunched over.
Best of luck!
squeaks,
