QuestionWhen I hold my mouse, she makes a chirping noise. What does this mean?
Thanks you!
AnswerDear Jess,
Mice actually 'talk' all the time, only usually it is so high-pitched that humans can't hear it. When a mouse has had a mild respiratory infection/cold at some point, often its 'voice' is lower and we can hear it. Some mice 'chirp' all the time; others only when they are excited. She is talking to you. I rather like it!
squeaks n giggles,
Natasha
