Pet Store Mouse...or is it?

Question
QUESTION: Hello!
I have owned mice for 3+ years and I have a lot of experience with them, but I purchased an adorable mouse from the pet store a month or so ago and I am thinking something is different about it than the other mice. You appear to know all about other breeds of mice, so I decided to ask you.
This mouse is brown, the color of the wild mice I see around, but I have seen that color at the pet store before. She has a white band around her rump/tummy, and I named her Baby since it looks almost like a diaper.
But the name 'Baby' fits her for different reasons. She has not grown much at all in the month or two I have had her. My sister recently purchased two mice for herself, and they have grown bigger than Baby even though she is older. Baby resembles the other mice in all other ways, except her face. She has a much smaller snout, it is rounder and has more whiskers that are finer than the other mice.
She is supposed to be a 'Fancy Mouse' just like my other mice, but I don't think she is. Do you have any ideas?
I can't include a picture of her, but here is a link to a website where I have a lot of information about mice that I made with my friend, and we have picture of our mice on their, so you can look at Baby (aka 'Nubbins') and examine her picture (on the far left)

Thanks!

ANSWER: Dear Sarah,
thank you for your question.
Baby looks like a normal fancy mouse to me. It's possible that she has been the runt of her littler and stayed that small because of that. It's also possible that the pet shop gets its mice from different breeders, show fancy mice are much larger that feeder mice or the "normal" mice usually sold in pet shops.
I hope I was of some help to you

QUESTION: Hey,
so the picture I first sent you wasn't a very good one, so I wanted to send you a new picture I recently took of Baby's face, which is differently shaped than my other mouse, Reepicheep, who has a pointed face like other mice.

Answer
Hi, thanks for the second photo. I'm still thinking fancy mouse, though. The shape of her face is different that that of other adult mice, but it's fairly typical for mice that are stunted in their growth for some reason. It's possible that Baby will not grow very old, but other than being small, she looks very healthy.
