Could Baby mouse have fleas?

Hello, I have found a baby mouse. I want to know if the carry fleas, if they do, is there something I can use to get rid of them? Linda

Hi Linda,

Mice don't carry fleas that could affect you or non rodent pets. Depending on the age, it is quite unlikely that it does at all. You would know due to its behavior, or you would see the parasites on it. You don't want to treat a baby unless you are sure.

Is the mouse showing symptoms that worry you?
