pet gerbel and tail

The skin and fur on the end of my baby gerbels tail pulled off, down to the bone. I need to know what to do. I applied pressure to stop the bleeding and applied triple anti-biotic. what else can I do.

You should probably separate him from the others especially if it occurred from fighting.  Putting antibiotic ointment on is a good idea.  However, watch out for signs of infection (discharge, bad smell, skin sloughing off) as he will need to see a vet.
