black bulging scabs near black bear hamsters behind

my Black bear hamster Hercules has 2 scab looking things near his behind. they started showing up when he got loose and my dog sniffed him out but i had not been home all day while he was loose so i am not sure if there was any contact or fighting between my dog mika and hercules a while after this one of his eyes was closed and it would not open plus it was very swollen then the day after that day i checked on him and the sores had gotten a little bigger and both his eyes were swollen shut so i put him on the top of his cage with the cage door open and me and my mom were petting him and then since he couldnt see he fell rite into his cage it didnt affect him it just shows that he rreally really cant see i am really really worried about hercules and i hope you can help me!!!

The sores on his back are most likely his scent glands. Male hamsters have two scab looking spot one on each side of their body, near their behind. Male hamsters use these to mark their territory. They tend to swell when in use, so they can mark their territory. As for his eyes, try taking a q-tip and get it wet with warm(not hot) water. Lightly rub it over his eyes. If they are crusted shut this will help open them. If this doesn't work, contact me again.
