most about ferrets

in a couple of months i'm moving and would really like a ferret. always wanted one. i would really appreciate it if you could tell me everything there is to know about them. would like for it to have characteristics of a dog and cat such as bathroom traning and answering to name or calls. once they're used to you do they get defensive towards other people or new animals or other new ferrets because i dont want my brother to come over and get attacked.

I am afraid I can't anwser everything as it work take forever to type but I can refer you to a great care site and tell you that a ferret is very easy to litter pan train and that it wont attack anyone because it is protective of you because they aren't and they love everyone, The website I'm reffering to is: http://www.ferretcentral.org/   its not really colorful and kind of old but it has upto date anwsers to comman questions and covers many areas of there care.
