Ferret Vet on Long Island

Hi Amy,

I purchased a lovely ferret approximately 3 months ago. I have not taken her to the vet yet.
I will like to take her soon but I do not know of any good vets around the area. I currently live in Suffolk County, Long Island. Can you recommend one?

congratulations on your new pet!
I am not familiar with vets in your area, and would not be able to recommend one sight unseen. Your best bet would be to contact the breeder/store that you purchased your ferret from, and ask them. Or your local yellow pages should have listings for vets that accept ferrets. Good luck, and have fun with your new friend!
