Fleas

My Ferret has fleas. Is it safe to use Frontline plus on her? I have it on my dog and cat but I'm not sure about a ferret.  Thanks

You can use anything that is approved for cats only, preferably kittens. Something used for a dog may be too strong. Be sure to follow all the directions carefully on the cat formula, and be sure to treat his bedding, hammocks, and your floors since you need to break the flea cycle and kill the eggs as well. DO NOT ever use a flea collar on your ferret though. If the fleas persist or you're having trouble getting rid of them completely, talk to your vet about a ferret specific treatment plan.
