ferrets gender

How can you tell if you have a boy or girl ferret. I have to and their gender is both diffent and i can't tell, who is who

Answer
Usually boys are bigger, but that's not always the case. Look on their undersides; a boy ferret will have a little "belly button" about a third of the way up on his stomach...which isn't really a belly button if you catch my drift. If there's really nothing there it's a girl. Also you can tell by looking at the area in which they go to the bathroom; boys will leave a poop pile and then a couple inches in front of it a pee puddle. Girls leave a pee puddle right on top of the poop pile.
