Training a 2 year old Siberian Husky

Hi my name is Misty and I am getting a two year old husky from a family member and he has not been trained.  He barks a lot and he is very hyper.  The people that I am getting him from have been keeping him in his crate all the time and have not worked with him.  Can the husky still be trained and how would I go about with it?

Yes you can train an adult Siberian Husky. This is an energetic and intelligent breed and I have found they do best when they have a job to occupy them.

I would suggest looking at local training centers and private trainers to see what fits your schedule and your budget the best and then get started working on consistent training right away.
